What you get, how your team uses it and how billing works.

What do I get beyond a report?

You get a prioritised work list tied to specific pages, with evidence and a recommended action for each job. You also get an improved preview of one priority page per site, so your team can see the proposed changes before publishing. Monthly reports track what changes.

How does per-site pricing work?

Pay for purchased site slots, with no setup fee and unlimited workspace users at no extra charge. Business plans apply the volume rate to ALL sites: 1–19 at $80 per site/month, 20–49 at $70, and 50+ at $60. Annual billing is 12 months upfront with 10% off: $864, $756 or $648 per site/year. Agency plans include a $200/month base, with sites at $70 each for 1–49 sites and $60 each for 50+. The agency rate applies to every site, and annual billing saves 10% on both base and sites. Prices are USD. Allocate monitored websites within your paid capacity.

What happens after the first month?

After your full first report, monthly checks focus on new issues, fixes and regressions. Your task list and report history help you see what still needs attention. Changes in coverage or AI models are kept distinct from verified website changes.

Is there a free report?

No. Reports are included with a paid site subscription. Each site starts with a full baseline, followed by monthly change reports.

Can I subscribe for just one month?

Yes. Choose monthly billing and cancel renewal when you choose. Access continues through the end of the paid billing period. Annual subscriptions are paid upfront and cancellation stops the next renewal.

Can I export a report?

Yes. Download a PDF or create a revocable report-sharing link. Agency subscribers can use their own name, logo, colours and contact details. Clients do not need an account to open a shared link. Shared pages require the owning workspace’s active subscription.

How does a clearer website help with AI recommendations?

When an AI system retrieves your pages, specific and verifiable information gives it material to use in an answer. Explain who you help, where you operate, what you offer and the evidence behind your claims. CiteRep helps identify gaps in those website foundations so you can make your business a more useful source. The outcome also depends on the question, the system and other sources it considers.

What is the difference between an AI citation and a recommendation?

A citation identifies or links to a source used in an answer. A recommendation suggests a business, service or product as a possible choice. An answer can cite your page without recommending you, or mention your business without linking to your site. CiteRep focuses on improving the website information that can support either outcome.

Is this the same work as traditional SEO?

Much of the foundation overlaps: accessible pages, useful content and consistent, accurate business information. CiteRep approaches that work through the questions a buyer might ask AI and the evidence your pages provide to answer them.

What is an AI readiness audit?

An AI readiness audit examines whether a website can be accessed, clearly understood and used as a source. CiteRep combines page checks with business clarity and answer coverage, then presents findings and suggested improvements. It is a diagnosis of the sampled content, not a guaranteed route to rankings.

How is answer coverage different from technical SEO?

Technical checks examine how pages are accessed and described. Answer coverage examines what those pages actually explain. A page can have a canonical URL and structured data while still failing to tell a buyer where you operate or how to request a quote.

Will CiteRep get my website into Google AI Overviews or Gemini answers?

No tool can promise that outcome. CiteRep helps you inspect the pages and information you control. Google and individual AI products decide which sources to retrieve, use and cite. A stronger report score is not proof that a particular answer will mention you.

Are the AI visibility results live rankings?

No. Where included, they are model-based simulations under particular prompts and settings. They do not reproduce every user's ChatGPT or Gemini app session, and the results may vary between runs. Treat them separately from evidence collected from your own pages.

Does CiteRep check every page on my website?

Not necessarily. Crawls are bounded by the report's page limit and by which public pages can be reached. The pages-checked list shows the sample that informed the report. Private, blocked and unreachable content cannot be assumed to have been assessed.

Do I need to install a plugin?

No website plugin or tracking snippet is required to run a public-site audit. Create a CiteRep workspace and add a website you own or are authorised to audit.

What should I fix first?

Start by checking whether the relevant pages were reachable. Then prioritise findings that affect important customer questions or make the business hard to identify. Verify the facts with the business owner before editing copy or structured data, and re-run a comparable report after publishing.

Can an agency audit a client's website?

Yes, with the client's authorisation. Use the report to establish a baseline and scope specific work. Site subscriptions belong to the workspace. Users are included at no extra charge.

Where can I report an incorrect finding?

Open Support inside your CiteRep workspace and include the report and the page in question. Explain which information is missing or misread so the result can be investigated in context.
